This luxurious custom home located behind a privacy gate is certain to become a traveler's favorite! It was designed for adult stays only as it sits on a sheer bluff overlooking the Pacific and has some of the best panoramic ocean views in all of Trinidad. Sit in the hot tub, soak up 180 degree views of the NorthCoast and watch for whales out at sea. The expansive backyard is uniquely designed with a colorful outdoor mural, whale sculpture, pond and gardens. Enjoy barbecuing and dining in comfort around the outdoor gas firepit table, sofa & chairs while watching the sunset over Camel Rock.
This single level home with vaulted, wood lined ceilings and gorgeous wood floors has an open concept floor plan with wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows that invite the seascape vista into the living and dining room. Guests can cozy up by the gas fireplace in the separate den for watching T.V. The culinary lover’s kitchen includes upscale stainless steel appliances, a gas stove and a breakfast bar for fun entertaining. The two deluxe bedrooms both offer magnificent ocean views, quality King beds and desks for traveler’s needing to work while getting away. The two bathrooms have beautifully tiled walk-in showers and the master bathroom includes a bathtub. The larger bedroom has the ensuite bathroom and the other one is conveniently located just down the hall. Every amenity in this home is set up with style and comfort in mind for a relaxing getaway by the sea.
Take a very short drive less than 2 miles away and explore locals favorites - Moonstone Grill for great food and Moonstone beach, Houda Point to watch the surfer's at Camel Rock and Luffenholtz for beachcombing. Continue a few miles further North on Scenic Drive and arrive in the quaint seaside village of Trinidad with a full service grocery store, Beachcomber Cafe, Moonstone Winery Tasting Room and some great local eatery's. Visit Trinidad's pier and hike around Trinidad Head for amazing panoramic vistas. Drive 30 minutes North and hike in the majestic Redwood National Park.

This is a great property in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. It was very clean and management was super to work with. We were there during a region-wide power outage from the recent storms and the house had a back-up power system that kept the lights and essential components operating. Nearby Seascape Restaurant was awesome! We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this peoperty.
with one exception. The multilevel deck was prolematic. Since the decking all runs the same direction on initial access both myself and my friend stumbled off the upper deck onto the lower deck. We arrived as the sun was setting and that contributed to our inability to notice the different levels. Would suggest some sort of paint or ruff surrface on the edge of the upper decks to warn visitors of the different decks. The view was spectacular even with the morning fog which we expected this time of year. Would definately stay again.

I rented this ocean view home for my cousin's birthday. The house was clean, comfortable and the furnishings were very nice. The view was spectacular and the yard was clean and presentable. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and the hot tub was a nice touch after a day of hiking. We loved this home and would definitely recommend to our friends.

This was the first rental house we have ever stayed in where we could truly see ourselves living. We have rented other houses (even in Trinidad) that we have loved for a vacation but the layout of this house, both inside and out, were perfect. A well laid out kitchen, stocked with essential pots and pans, great separation of public and private space, and the VIEWS! Great outdoor furniture, perfect for sitting and watching the whale circle in the water below two days in a row. So jealous of the garden, too, which we could never grow back in San Jose. It was a splurge to stay here for 4th of July but we had great views of people lighting off fireworks on the beach. Definitely exceeded my expectations and provided a much needed respite from our daily grind.

Absolutely beautiful location and view. The home is quite thoughtfully designed and the grounds are so lovely. The bedrooms both have wonderful views. We didn't cook much for our trip, but the kitchen would be a great space for this. Would love to return.

It was just a great place to stay. I stayed out on the deck the whole time we had a nice sunny weather. I watched whales I think they were gray whales it was just beyond anything I ever expected. The place was fully stocked and Trinidad Retreats took good care of us. We will definitely be back. Oh by the way watch the speed limit on the road is 10 miles an hour.
