Learn about our unique Redwood forest ecosystem and the amazing array of wildlife and spectacular scenery that can only be accessed by mountain bike. Our Guided Mountain Bike Tours allow beginners to learn off-road mountain biking techniques on our wide trials through redwood groves, meadows, creeks, and beaches. Beginner trails are less than 10 miles round trip. Intermediate and advanced riders are introduced to some of the North Coast’s famous single-track trails. We have several different trails to choose from and each adventure is custom designed to meet our client’s interest and riding abilities. Intermediate rides are approximately 15 miles round trip. Advanced rides are approximately 25 miles round trip. Half day tours are 3- 4 hours and full day tours are 6 hours plus. 2 Person minimum is required to book a tour. Bike tours are not suitable for children under 10, child-sized bikes are limited.
Come sport fishing in Trinidad Bay! Fish for rockfish, dungeness crab and salmon. Families and groups of friends will have a head out for a day of fun fishing on the bay. Most charter boats take a maximum of 6 people at a time and run two trips a day. Morning trips the boat usually leaves the Trinidad Pier at 6:15 am and returns after limits or 5 hours. Afternoon trips the boat leaves the Trinidad Pier again at 12:15 pm and returns after limits or 5 hours. Our local captains work very hard to make sure their customers have a successful trip and a fun day on the ocean.

This will give you a thorough understanding of the complex ecology found in the unique coastal redwood groves. Hike the famous Fern Canyon, look for migrating whales and see the abundant wildlife found in Redwood National Park. All guided eco-tour adventures are completely customized to meet the interest and abilities of our clients. The amount of hiking involved is completely up to the clients.
Come kayak on one of Humboldt Lagoons State Park. Big Lagoon, Stone Lagoon and Freshwater Lagoon are a series of enclosed, flat body of water that share miles of sand spit with the ocean and is over 5 miles to circumnavigate. Shorebirds and river otters are abundant. While paddling you can also often see Roosevelt Elk from your kayak. Kayaking is the perfect outdoor activity for the whole family. Local outfitter's provide fun, eco-friendly, and safe water instruction for people of all abilities. They also offer stand up paddleboards. All kayak (single or double) and stand up paddle rentals include a life jacket and mini lesson. All rentals are totally appropriate for beginners. All rentals are for Stone and Big Lagoon only and are not acceptable for the ocean.
