Crabber's Cottage - Walk to Beach & Affordable!

This is a clean, comfortable newly updated cottage smack in the middle of a quaint seaside village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book this property again on future visits, if it is available.

This was a lovely place only a couple blocks to a beautiful view of the bay and ocean, very close to a couple . The skylights and high windows make it very light and bright. Very clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay here again.

We were so happy with the little
Cottage. Centrally located near restaurants, market and beach. Walked down to the beach to watch the beautiful sunset. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and a comfy bed too. A more comfy couch would have been nice to snuggle yo watch a movie but overall this place is a 10/10!!

Great place. Had all we wanted and more. You can walk to everything in Trinidad from Crabbers Cottage. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the decor! Comfy bed!

The cottage is as in the perfect location. Easy walk to a really nice beach, grocery store and restaurant. The host was very responsive to a very minor issue we had. The cottage is so cute and comfortable. We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay longer. We ate in one night and all of the utensils and appliance were were good to easily make a light meal.

It was a walkable paradise! The only time we drove was to the wonderful sites in the area (mostly the majestic redwoods. Restaurants, ocean and a great grocery store were all walking distance. The only minor complaint was the difficulty converting the futon from sofa to bed and back.

The Cottage was a great place to explore the coast. Located in a quiet enclave it was close to the beach, a restaurant is steps away and was clean and well maintained.

Loved this place in Trinidad! Just as described. The grill was brand new and we used it both nights we were there. We were within walking distance to everything in town including two lovely beaches and a hike to the light house. Plenty of places to eat or grab a coffee and even wine tasting next door. The grocery store in town was very well stocked. We were surprised to see such a great variety of organic items! Would definitely stay again.

The property was lovely. We would stay there again!!! Priced well given it didn’t have a full kitchen. We were fine with that because I had just spent a week cooking with extended family in Willow Creek.and The restaurants were all within a close distance.Easy enough to be able to have breakfast and lunch in. Very clean and accommodating.

The only improvement I would make is a handheld showerhead.

Crabber’s Cottage, however, lives up to its 5 star ratings!
It’s super close to the ocean, you can walk to everywhere in town, it’s clean, cozy, comfy bed, they even had Netflix and coffee.
We would definitely return!

Less than 2 blocks to beautiful ocean views and rugged beaches. Seascape Restaurant had the best pancakes! Trinidad Art Gallery across the street had beautiful art. The property was smartly decorated. The shams and bedspread had not been cleaned. The ceiling fan over the bed was so dirty I did not want to turn it on. Otherwise, cleaning was on par with most hotels. I felt like it was a good deal for what we needed.

Crabber’s Cottage is not for everyone as it is small. I have visited twice and it is perfect for me. I plan on returning regularly and hope it is as reasonable. Clean, stocked, convenient. Wish the Espresso Cafe was open during the week in winter.

We had a great time here. It was just my husband and I so the smaller space was fine for us. It was very clean and felt cozy. We had a great time walking and hiking around Trinidad. The location was good for us because we day tripped to Arcata and Eureka and enjoyed being able to walk out down the road and see the ocean. The only thing I would change in a perfect world lol... Is the chairs on the porch were cold and uncomfortable. But it was pretty cold to sit out anyway. But in the summer that would be nice. But the unit felt modern and clean and that was nice.
Oh and extremely quiet!

The crabber's cottage is a cute place to stay and as described in the pictures. The location is great for walking around Trinidad. While it seemed clean, there was a strong chemical odor when we arrived. It took a full 24 hours to air it out. Other than the smell, it was a good place to say.

The Crabbers Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. Decorated in our style. Very clean. Upgraded fixtures. Comfortable bed. It was a very enjoyable stay with beautiful weather. We will be back!

This place is cute and cozy and has a great location. We visited on a holiday weekend, and all the restaurants in town were slammed, so I wished it had a more complete kitchen. It has an electric range, but no pots and pans. It was a little too chilly at night to want to grill. But I would stay again!

This beautiful little cottage was not only the perfect size for 2, we were able to walk to restaurants, viewpoints, and to Trinidad Harbor. The highlight was sipping coffee from the viewpoint while watching whales spout below us in Trinidad Bay.

I was more than satisfied with Crabber's Cottage. What it lacks in size, it makes up for with beautiful decor, attention to the smallest details and thoughtful extras like a first aid kit and more. For one person it was spacious and open. There is no ocean view but 10 steps out the door and you are staring at the ocean and can easily walk to the beach and other amenities. It was so quiet, I never heard any street noise, people or machinery of any kind. The bed was a dream. I hope to return soon.

The Crabber's Cottage was exactly as advertised: A cute little cottage in a prime location in the middle of Trinidad. Easy access to the beach, a short drive from Patrick's Point State Park and the Redwoods. An excellent place to recharge.

Communication from the property was outstanding, and they eliminated all of our COVID-19 fears with excellent, clear guidelines. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

After viewing the description and pictures of the Crabber's Cottage online, we decided to venture forth to the serene, beautiful town of Trinidad and spend a few days in the Crabber's Cottage. We experienced excellent service from management in all aspects of securing the property for our vacation. What a delightful place to stay. From the superior interior decorating choices to the comfy beds and kitchen amenities, we were extremely happy with our choice for lodging! There were even two new bikes with helmets just waiting to be ridden in the beautiful little city. Add to that the accessibility of a nearby market, restaurant, an excellent coffee shop, The Beachcomber, as well as a wonderful selection of art stores and shops featuring the artwork and pottery of local artisans, the location of the Crabber's Cottage could not have been better. This is a gem for a vacation rental. Quiet, superb in comfort and location, and a professional management team to handle the rental details.
