Our son just moved to Manila, and this was only our 2nd visit... of many to come... my daughter in law went to Humboldt and recommended this place... she stayed in May and her parents were there in July.. hope to get a friends and family discount!

Really happy we found this place. Convenient location with off Street parking, a couple blocks from the center of town. Walked to coffee, breakfast, casual and fine dining, and one of the best small town farmer's market around. Loved it.

This was a very nice little studio cottage. You could tell the owners took great pains to update the cottage and to give it a very nice modern feel. The place was immaculately clean, plenty of towels, kitchen ware, even a fireplace below the tv.
The only thing I would suggest is firmer pillows. The pillows were extremely mushy and didn't give a lot of support. Maybe just keep an extra set for those who like firmer pillows.
The cottage was 3 blocks from the plaza and places to eat, it was so great not to have to drive everywhere.
The team was very helpful and answered quickly if I had questions. Overall, a great place to stay while taking my daughter to her first year of college.

This studio is exactly what you see in the pictures. Storage was a bit of issue. My wife took the shelves, and I slid my opened suitcase under the bed to use as a big under-bed drawer. The closet is spacious, but only had four hangers. Everything appears to be brand new and there's enough kitchen utensils that we made breakfast on all but one morning. The location is the best thing about this property. A breakfast/brunch restaurant popular with locals is just around the corner. Other great restaurants are minutes away by foot. Even a local baseball stadium is within walking distance and worth attending if it's baseball season. The only problem we had was a tree over the driveway that shed sticky sap and leaves. The leaves stuck to our shoes and had to be scraped off with a knife when we got home. We tried to sweep off the entry, but the leaves stuck to the ground -- until we walked on them. Thankfully, we had a rent car and didn't have to clean the sap off the outside and the leaves off the carpet. This could be seasonal problem, so it might not be so bad when the tree isn't shedding.

I liked the location of the place and it was comfortable. A rug to step on from the rain would be nice. The shower doesn't get very hot. I paid a cleaning fee and a lot of instructions on how to clean the place before I left and a tip envelope for the person who cleans it was a bit funny to me. Bed was very comfortable. Had trouble with the property people getting back to me initially I thought it was a scam. It's cute and clean but I'm not sure I would stay again as the water in the shower doesn't get hot.
